NISAR is a dual L/S band SAR joint mission by ISRO and NASA expected to be launched in Dec 2021. All data will be free and open. Spatial resolution will be 7m (az) x 3-24m (rg). It will have a repeat cycle of 12 days. The mission will have single, dual, compact and quad pol modes and will also be suitable for interferometry.NISAR level 1 products will include include the Single Look Complex (SLC), Multi-Look Detected (MLD), unwrapped interferogram (UNW), wrapped nearest-time interferograms (IFG), and polarimetric covariance matrix (COV) in range-Doppler coordinates. The NISAR level 2 products will be geocoded versions of all the level 1 products except MLD and the wrapped interferogram. Products are delivered in HDF-EOS5 format. We will implement readers for NISAR L1 and L2 products for all product types. We will ensure the products function appropriately with the polarimetric and interferometric tools in SNAP.The products will contain a look up table for converting between DN to Sigma0, Beta0, Gamma0. We will add a calibrator to apply the LUT.
